The Tallulah Lewis Foundation Limited provides grants to support wide-ranging assistance to young people in hardship including - but not limited to - shelter, food, education and medical assistance.
In particular, the Foundation makes grants to UK based organisations that are working with young people living or working in the UK or overseas who are experiencing financial hardship. Individuals are also occasionally awarded a grant.
Grants can be used to provide or pay for items, services or facilities that will benefit disadvantage young people living or working in the UK and overseas.
The Foundation’s objectives are:
o The relief of financial hardship among young people living or working in the UK and overseas by providing goods, services or education which they could not otherwise afford.
o The relief of financial hardship, either generally or individually, of young people living in the UK and overseas by making grants of money for providing or paying for items, services or facilities, and/or
o The relief of the young sick-poor living in the UK and overseas either generally or individually through the provision of grants, goods or services.
During the year ended 31st May 2023, the Foundation awarded grants totalling £34,200 to charitable institutions, with no awards to individuals (2022: £37,080, consisting of £32,080 to charitable institutions and £5,000 to individuals).
The Foundation does not list grant recipients in its annual accounts, nor does it have a website. Further information about the Foundation is available on the Charity Commission website.
There are separate application processes for charitable organisations and individuals.
1. Charitable organisations should contact the Foundation to request an application form.
2. Individuals should submit a letter of application to the Foundation.
