The Boshier-Hinton Foundation provides grants to UK charities and Community Interest Companies that are working to provide relief for children and adults with special educational or other needs. Projects which are innovative and developmental are particularly welcomed.
The Foundation’s objectives are to:
o Provide relief for children and adults with special educational or other needs, and their families, in any part of the UK.
o Make donations to institutions providing facilities and advocacy for children and adults with special educational or other needs.
o Make donations to other registered Charitable Trusts, and
o Make donations to local community charities or other agencies in any part of the country whose objects are no wider than the charity's own, or to any charity for use for particular purposes, which fall within the charity's objects.
Revenue grants up to £2,000 are available (the Foundation does not award grants for capital projects).
Funding is not available for:
o Capital projects.
o Core costs.
o Individuals.
o Projects for which statutory funding is available, or
o Retrospective costs, or salaries.

Applications may be made at any time and should include a copy of the applicant’s most recent accounts. Successful applicants will also be expected to provide evidence that they have the following policies and procedures in place:
