Revenue grants generally up to £25,000 are available for small UK registered charities that are providing health and education support to children, families and carers in the UK.

o Funder: The Beacon Lodge Charitable Trust (founded 1962. Charity number 214402. Total value of all grants awarded during the year ended 31 March 2021: £127,791).

o Who can apply: UK registered charities with an annual income of under £500,000.

The objective of the Beacon Lodge Charitable Trust is to promote the welfare and support of children and parents in the UK by

o Supporting and assisting those in need, their family and carers.
o Promoting their health, 
and
o Advancing their education.

Grants can be used for projects or to meet ongoing running costs, including staff costs and rent.

In order to be eligible to apply for grant support, charities must meet the following criteria:

o Have a bank account in the name of the organisation.
o Have aims and objectives relating to the areas of child welfare and support for parents.
o Have an annual income below £500,000.
o Have appropriate safeguarding measures in place.
o Operate within the UK, 
and be
o Registered as a charity with the Charity Commission or HMRC.

Funding is not available for:

o Charities with an annual income of above £500,000.
o Individuals,
 or
o Projects which would be considered a statutory responsibility.

The Trust operates two application deadlines annually, on 31st March and 30th September.

The next deadline for applications is therefore Thursday 31st March 2022.
