Little Lives UK’s Children's Community Support Programme provides small grants to UK community organisations that are working with children in the UK to deliver activities and services so that children can have a happy, healthy and fun childhood.
The funding is in response to the number of children and families in the UK who cannot afford something for their children that many would take for granted, such as access to an afterschool club or sports team.
Through their Children’s Community Support Programme, Little Lives UK wants to guarantee that children around the UK can join clubs, take part in activities, learn and have fun without it costing them or their family anything.
Children’s groups and organisations, such as play groups or sports classes, may apply for a grant of up to £2,200. Little Lives UK are open to applications from other projects, as long as their primary objective focuses on providing services to children.
There is no minimum grant level. In addition to grant support, Little Lives UK will also support the work of applicants through its social media channels and on their website.
Grants can be used to provide such services as (please note that this is not an exclusive list) free activities, sessions or classes.
Some case studies of previously funded organisations are provided on the Little Lives website.
Further information, guidance and an online application form can be found on the Little Lives UK website.
