The project is looking for 3 organsations across South Wales, who share the passion in making a difference in young people’s lives. There will also be opportunities for the 3 groups to meet and create work together, sharing their differences and similarities.
The project will use creative accessible tools to empower young people to ask important questions that are affecting them such as:
What do they want the world they will inherit to look like?
What do they want to protect and nurture for tomorrow? What do they want to change?
Can we work together as different communities in Wales to fight inequality and discrimination?
What it will involve:
Once a month full day session (over 6 months) with young people and staff, exploring what their future looks like and make a creative change and a sharing day of the work they have created.
Then a summer project for 3 days where all groups can get together to create a joint sharing.
We would provide a lead artist, a creative team in the theme they want to develop, hall hire, food, marketing and materials – making the project free, all we ask is for the organisations staff time in supporting the project with the young people.
