21 and 22 September 2022: online storytelling showcase event

Spanning two mornings this event will consist of a series of presentations that give an insight into existing knowledge and practice about storytelling approaches that support well-being, practice and learning. Towards the end of the event, participants will be invited to respond to the presentations. We will use participatory methods to identify key areas of interest and planning for in-person workshops later in the year - these workshops with help attendees to reflect on their values and develop their knowledge, skills and practical application of storytelling in their organisations or work.

Adrodd straeon ar gyfer lles, ymarfer a dysgu

Mae DEEP, Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru a ExChange yn dod at ei gilydd i gyflwyno cyfres o weithdai adrodd straeon addysgiadol ac ymarferol. Bydd y digwyddiadau yn creu cyfle ar gyfer cyfnewid gwybodaeth, dysgu a rhwydweithio o amgylch y defnydd o ddulliau adrodd straeon at les, ymarfer a dysgu.

Mae polisi iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol yng Nghymru yn siliedig ar lles, nid yn unig y bobl a gefnogir gan wasanaethau, ond hefyd gofalwyr ac ymarferwyr di-dâl. Mae corff amrywiol o dystiolaeth ynglŷn â’r rôl y gall adrodd straeon ei chwarae wrth feithrin llesiant, er nad yw gwybodaeth ac arferion adrodd straeon yn gyffredin.

21 a 22 Medi 2022: digwyddiad adrodd straeon ar-lein

Dros ddau fore bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn cynnwys cyfres o gyflwyniadau sy'n rhoi cipolwg ar wybodaeth ac ymarfer presennol am ddulliau adrodd straeon sy'n cefnogi lles, ymarfer a dysgu. Tua diwedd y digwyddiad, gwahoddir cyfranogwyr i ymateb i'r cyflwyniadau. Byddwn yn defnyddio dulliau cyfranogol i nodi meysydd diddordeb allweddol a chynllunio ar gyfer gweithdai personol yn ddiweddarach yn y flwyddyn - y gweithdai hyn gyda chymorth mynychwyr i fyfyrio ar eu gwerthoedd a datblygu eu gwybodaeth, sgiliau a chymhwysiad ymarferol o adrodd straeon yn eu sefydliadau neu eu gwaith.

“People are shaped by stories”

Storytelling for well-being, practice and learning

Health and social care policy in Wales is very much grounded in well-being, not just of people supported by services, but also unpaid carers and practitioners. There is a diverse body of evidence about the role that storytelling can play in nurturing well-being, although storytelling knowledge and practice is not widespread in social care.
