A major new report from the Children’s Alliance says that there is an urgent need for sustained investment in a UK-wide network of playgrounds to protect and enhance children’s health.  ‘Physical Health’, a comprehensive study of children’s physical health during Covid-19, features the work of nationally-renowned organisations and experts in children’s health including the API. The authors maintain that good physical health is an entitlement for all children and call for a new Cabinet Minister for Children who would make that a focus in all government departments.
