Hafren Dyfrdwy area - core funds for community groups and organisations

Hafren Dyfrdwy say- we recognise though that with the current cost of living crisis the priority need in our communities is for support with core and day to day running costs. We understand that many charities and groups now need our help with core funding, so we’ve committed to allocating £50,000 for 2023/24 to cover core costs for groups within the Hafren Dyfrdwy region finding it hard to maintain their activities, to help them to continue delivering their vital services to our communities.

Charities and organisations can apply to be considered for a restricted grant of between £2,000 - £10,000 for 1 year to help them get through this challenging time.

This support will be available to not-for-profit organisations that:

  • support communities within the Hafren Dyfrdwy region;
  • have been operating for 12 months or more (and have at least one set of formal accounts);
  • have an annual income of £250,000 or less (based on last year’s accounts);
  • deliver a service that links to one of our three key elements of community wellbeing (people, place and environment)

 Applications are now open and will be open until the funding has been awarded.

Our full eligibility criteria and details on how to apply can be found at www.hdcymru.co.uk/communityfund
