Diverse Cymru commissioned by Welsh Government to undertake a rapid review of its Community Cohesion Programme in Wales

This project aims to: Assess the design and delivery of the Community Cohesion Programme;

Understand how well the programme supports community cohesion at national, regional and local levels; and

Identify lessons for how the programme can be improved.

Diverse Cymru has been commissioned by the Welsh Government to undertake a rapid review of its Community Cohesion Programme in Wales. Diverse Cymru is a leading equality charity in Wales. Our work is cross-characteristic, including anyone who experiences discrimination or disadvantage in Wales.

This project aims to:

  • Assess the design and delivery of the Community Cohesion Programme;
  • Understand how well the programme supports community cohesion at national, regional and local levels; and
  • Identify lessons for how the programme can be improved.

At the end of the project we will provide a report to Welsh Government. This report will be anonymous. It will not include any names and no comments will be attributed.

We are keen to speak to representatives of any organisation or community group in Wales.

Please email: research(at)diverse.cymru to register for this focus group. Please let us know:

  • If you would like to contribute in Welsh, English or bilingually
  • If you have any access requirements to participate in this focus group.

We are also holding focus groups for:

  • disabled people’s organisations on 29th March at 1 pm
  • Black, Asian and minoritised ethnic people’s organisations on 31st March at 6 pm.
