Ar hyn o bryd mae Kooth yn darparu gwasanaeth cwnsela yn yr ysgol annibynnol ac yn y gymuned (wyneb i wyneb ac ar-lein) i bobl ifanc ym Mhowys. Mae Kooth wedi bod yn darparu'r gwasanaeth ym Mhowys ers dros 10 mlynedd.

Mae'r cytundeb i fod i ddod i ben ddiwedd mis Hydref 2023, felly mae'n ofynnol i'r Cyngor gynnal proses dendro.

Mae’r broses dendro wedi digwydd dros y 10 mis diwethaf, gyda phobl ifanc mewn ysgolion wedi bod yn rhan o’r broses ac yn darparu adborth ar gyfer y gwasanaeth newydd.

Rydym yn falch o gadarnhau bod Area 43 wedi sicrhau contract cwnsela newydd i bobl ifanc ym Mhowys. Bydd Area 43 yn dechrau'r gwasanaeth cwnsela newydd ddydd Gwener 27 Hydref.

Bydd pob atgyfeiriad newydd i Kooth ar gyfer cwnsela wyneb yn wyneb yn dod i ben ddydd Gwener 29 Medi ac ar y pryd hwn bydd rhaid gwneud pob atgyfeiriad newydd i Area 43. Bydd yr holl gofrestriadau ar gyfer Kooth ar-lein yn dod i ben ar 6 Hydref, ond byddant yn parhau i redeg tan ddiwedd mis Hydref ar gyfer yr holl bobl ifanc sydd eisoes yn defnyddio'r gwasanaeth ar-lein ym Mhowys.

Yn ystod y cyfnod rhwng 29 Medi a 27 Hydref, bydd Kooth yn parhau i ddarparu gwasanaeth cwnsela wyneb yn wyneb i'r bobl ifanc hynny y maen nhw’n gweithio gyda nhw’n barod.  Bydd cwnselwyr Kooth yn cysylltu â'r holl bobl ifanc ar y rhestr aros i wneud y trosglwyddiad yn ddi-dor ac i sicrhau bod pobl ifanc yn cael cymorth yn ystod y cyfnod hwn.

Bydd rhagor o wybodaeth am y gwasanaeth newydd yn ogystal â'r ddolen atgyfeirio Area  43 newydd yn cael ei rhannu dros yr wythnosau nesaf. 

Sylwch y bydd cyfnod pontio, ac rydym yn rhagweld rhywfaint o darfu tra bydd y trosglwyddiad yn digwydd.  Efallai y bydd rhai newidiadau i'r tîm sy'n darparu'r gwasanaeth wyneb yn wyneb a bydd Area 43 mewn cysylltiad ag ysgolion dros yr wythnosau nesaf. Rydym yn ymwybodol bod hwn yn gyfnod anodd i staff, cofiwch gysylltu â mi os oes gennych unrhyw gwestiynau pellach ynglŷn â'r contract.

Hoffem ddiolch i Kooth, sydd wedi darparu'r gwasanaeth cwnsela yma ym Mhowys ers 10 mlynedd a hoffwn gydnabod y gwaith mawr y maen nhw wedi darparu i bobl ifanc.

Kooth currently deliver the young people’s independent school and community-based counselling (face to face and online) service in Powys. Kooth have been delivering the service in Powys for over 10 years.

The contract is due to expire at the end of October 2023, therefore the Council is required to undertake a tender process.

The tender process has taken place over the last 10 months, with young people in schools been involved in the process and providing feedback for the new service.

We are pleased to confirm that Area 43 have secured the new young people’s counselling contract in Powys. Area 43 will start the new counselling service on Friday 27th October.

All new referrals to Kooth for face to face counselling will stop on Friday 29th September and at this point all new referrals must be made to Area 43. All registrations for Kooth online will stop on 6th October, but will continue to run until the end of October for all young people already accessing the online service in Powys.

During the period between 29th September and 27th October, Kooth will continue to deliver a face to face counselling service to those young people already being worked with. Kooth counsellors will be contacting all young people on the waiting list to make the transfer seamless and to ensure young people are accessing support at this time.

Further information regarding the new service as well as the new Area 43 referral link will be shared over the coming weeks.

Please note that there will be a period of transition, we anticipate limited disruption whilst the transfer takes place. There may be some changes to the team delivering the face to face service and Area 43 will be in contact with schools over the coming weeks. We are aware that this is a difficult time for staff, therefore please contact me if you have any further queries regarding the contract.
