Communities for Work Plus Powys is a mentoring scheme that allows anyone over 16 across Powys to access expert advice and guidance to help them overcome obstacles that they may be facing to get them into work. Communities for Work Plus helps job seekers access the right support at the right time.

When a job seeker gets in touch, one of our mentors will be able to identify the best support for them. Through conversations they will create an Action Plan tailored to the job seekers’ needs and support them through every step.

We can provide:

Employability skills, including help with CV writing, job applications and interview preparation
Sourcing work placements and volunteering opportunities
Funding for training for specific qualifications such as Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), Food Hygiene, Security Industry Authority (SIA)
Help to find suitable job opportunities

Working with Communities for Work Plus will help job seekers unlock their potential.
