An opportunity to learn Nursing in Powys by distance course with local placements

Bangor University offer Nursing as a distance learning course with local placements for Powys students.

A fully funded distance learning nursing degree that Bangor University is delivering to individuals living in Powys. The course will begin in March 2023 and we're keen to ensure those who may be interested, hear about the opportunity to study nursing to degree level using distance learning and local placements.

There are study opportunities for those interested in Adult, Children and Mental Health nursing and the course is likely to appeal to career changers and/ or those who want a more flexible way to get into nursing than traditional University based approaches offer. This approach is easier to fit around family or other commitments, as well as appealing more broadly to anyone to who prefers to access learning remotely. The local nature of placements also means that travel costs are reduced and that it is more convenient for students to participate in full time, degree level nurse training.

The QR code on the poster takes individuals to a web page (links below) which contain details of our online information sessions taking place in November, December and January. We are encouraging those interested in the course to sign up for one of these hour-long sessions.
