Nevill Hall Minor Injury Unit

Consultation period regarding proposed changes to opening hours extended.

As part of a 12-week engagement exercise, Aneurin Bevan University Hospital Board is
looking to capture views on proposed changes to some of the opening hours of their Minor
Injury Units including the unit at Nevill Hall Hospital (NHH).
A final drop in date for residents (including Powys residents from the South of the county)
who might currently access Nevill Hall Hospital’s Minor Injury Unit has been confirmed. No
booking is required for the drop -in. People can turn up to have their say on:

  • Monday 27 November
  • 5:30pm to 7:30pm
  • at the Lecture Theatre, Education Centre, Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny

The current proposal is looking to close the Nevill Hall MIU (Minor Injury Unit) between the
hours of 1am and 7am.
The 12-week engagement period runs until 5.00pm on Friday 1 December 2023.
For those residents who are unable to attend the drop in event there is a survey which can
be completed either online at: forms.office.com/e/16ambYxmea or by picking up and
completing a paper copy at Nevill Hall Hospital and placing it in the post-box situated in the
Main Reception of the hospital and at Abergavenny Library.
