Good news from Cardiff Metropolitan University Below.
We have funding from Welsh government to run six foundational economy workshops across Wales.
In phase one, we held scoping meetings with public and third sector organisations to identify the challenges faced and develop plans for the workshops.
We’ve used contributions and suggestions from the scoping meetings to create the content for our Understanding Foundational Economy Principles Workshops.
We’re pleased to announce the following dates for the workshops:

Please sign up to one of the half-day workshops via the link below.
Please be aware that this is an in-person workshop.
Who is this session for?
Anyone working in the public or third sector who is interested to learn how to incorporate statutory frameworks and concepts like Wales Future Generations Act, Foundational Economy, Community Wealth Building, Circular Economy and Social Value into their policies, processes and practices.
Why should you attend?
During this session, we will introduce the above concepts and discuss where they overlap and/or differ. We'll discuss barriers to implementing foundational economy and how to overcome them without creating more workload. This session is aimed at people who are overwhelmed by the above concepts and don't know where to start.
Cost
Attendance of the half-day workshop is free. We will finish with a buffet lunch and networking.
Please do share with contacts and colleagues you think may be interested in the workshops. We look forward to seeing you there!
