About Powys Patients’ Council

Powys Patients’ Council (PPC) is a project funded by Powys Teaching Health Board and delivered by the PAVO Mental Health Team. It provides a platform for people receiving care in acute mental health units to have their voices heard.

They hold regular, confidential meetings on the ward, exclusively for patients, led by volunteers with lived experience. These meetings ensure that feedback is captured, respected, and used to improve mental health services in Powys.
