You spoke, we listened: Community buildings support
Our recent Stakeholder Survey made it clear just how much the Community Buildings project was valued by the trustees and volunteers it supported.
Just as importantly, people told us they missed the network – having a place to connect with others, share ideas, ask questions and know that you’re not facing challenges alone.
Supporting the people behind our community buildings
Community buildings are at the heart of so many of our communities. They’re places where people come together, services are delivered and connections are made.
We know that keeping a community building running takes time, energy and commitment. That’s why we want to make sure trustees and volunteers have the advice and connections they need.
In response to your feedback, we’re pleased to now have more support available for trustees and volunteers involved in running community buildings.
We’re also bringing back our online discussion forum – a chance to meet others in similar roles, share experiences, swap ideas, ask questions and learn from each other.
Our first online meeting will be on 7 September, from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Whether you’ve been involved in running a community building for years or are new to the role, you’ll be very welcome. We’d love you to join us and help shape the forum as it develops.
