Speaking Out Staying Safe – regional workshops
IMIX are running workshops to support small grassroots organisations with crisis communications and challenging conversations. The workshops will be particularly useful for people who are responsible for comms, but are not comms professionals.
The workshop aims to give you practical tools for handling online hostility, misinformation and difficult media moments, more confidence in your own organisation’s voice, and, crucially, a group of people nearby who are dealing with the same things.

Scotland, Tuesday 6 October, 10am
Northern Ireland, Thursday 8 October, 10am
North East England, Tuesday 13 October, 10am
South West England, Tuesday 3 November, 10am
Wales, Thursday 5 November, 10am
UK General, Thursday 19 November, 10am
Each session is two hours online, followed by an optional 30 minutes for anyone who wants to stay on and turn what they have learned into an action plan for their own organisation.
