Open Newtown Hedge project

Tir Coed and Open Newtown are working together to improve the woodland boundary near the Trehafren housing estate by planting a new hedgerow.

We are inviting volunteers to take part in hedge planting, biodiversity learning, native tree identification, and clearing fly-tipped waste to help make the area safer and more accessible for local families. We will be there 10am -3pm every Monday in February and the 1^st Monday in March.

No previous experience is required, and all tools and guidance will be provided.
