National Resources Wales Flooding Matters Event
Planning is underway to welcome community flood volunteers across Wales to the network events in September 2026.
They will be held in:
10 September 2026 – Carmarthen
24 September 2026 – Treforest
Other support agencies involved in flooding, including Local Authorities, Local Resilience Fora, Welsh Water, Fire and Rescue Service, Police, British Red Cross and others will also be present. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
This is an opportunity to:
- understand how flood risk is managed in Wales and what you can do to prepare
- talk to others who face similar challenges to learn from each other
- hear from different organisations involved in flooding and how they work together in Wales
- speak to representatives from other organisations one-to-one.
