To support the All Wales Deaf Awareness eLearning package, a free Deaf Awareness course for staff across health, social care, education, and voluntary sectors in Wales,
DEAF invite you to join their Lunch & Learn session on:
Tuesday 5th May
1:00–2:00pm (online)
This short session will:
- Introduce the course and how to access it
- Highlight why deaf awareness is essential in practice
- Support improved communication, assessments, and outcomes
- Help you prepare for new requirements following the recent BSL (Wales) Act agreed by the Senedd on 11th March 2026.
There will also be an opportunity for Q&A. So bring your lunch and a cuppa along and learn lots!
We have two BSL/English interpreters booked – Sam Hopkins and Julie Doyle.
