Find out more about health and wellbeing plans for North Powys

Would you like to learn more about plans for the new Health and Wellbeing Hub in Newtown, or hear about hospital developments in Shrewsbury and Telford?

The North Powys Wellbeing Programme team will be at Hafan yr Afon, Back Lane, Newtown, from 11am to 1pm on Monday 22 June, alongside colleagues from The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.

You will have the opportunity to find out more about the proposed Health and Wellbeing Hub, which aims to bring a range of services together under one roof. Plans include a new home for the public library, an expanded NHS Community Dental Service, new bases for the Integrated Family Centre, Mental Health Services and NHS Children’s Services, as well as a training centre and dedicated wellbeing spaces.

Representatives from The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust will also be available to discuss developments taking place across the border as part of the Hospitals Transformation Programme.
