Autumn Conference – DTA Wales

We are looking forward to welcoming you next week to Ar y Cyd, our 2026 Autumn Conference, at Tŷ Pawb, Wrexham, on Tuesday 20 October!

There are still a few places left, so if you wish to bring a colleague with you, please do encourage them to register.

Below, you’ll find all your essential information for the day.

Programme

You can view the full programme for the day here. It’s a full day of workshops, talks and networking – plus a delicious lunch, tea and biscuits to keep you going!

The conference will run from 10am to 4:30pm, with registration and tea and coffee available from 10am.

Market Place: Funder & support organisation stalls

Once again, we are pleased to have several funders and support organisations join our Market Place (see the programme for full details). They will be available throughout the event to talk with you about your projects, offer guidance and answer any questions you may have.

Workshop choices

You will be invited to make your workshop selections at registration, so please arrive with sufficient time to do this.

Getting to the venue

The conference takes place at Tŷ Pawb, Market Street, Wrexham. Please enter through the main entrance on Market Street. The venue is a 9-minute walk from Wrexham Bus Station and a 12-minute walk from Wrexham General Train Station.

Parking

If travelling by car, the venue is a 10-minute drive from the A483, exiting at Junction 5. There are several nearby pay-and-display car parks, with the closest being Tŷ Pawb’s multi-storey car park, followed by Market Street Car Park. Both are wheelchair accessible.

Accessibility

Lift access is available throughout the venue, including access to the toilets. If you require additional information or have any specific needs you would like us to be aware of, please feel free to contact us in advance.

Refreshments & catering

A vegetarian lunch will be provided by Sorbus Catering, a local catering organisation from Ruthin that is passionate about good food and supporting its community. Tea, coffee and other refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Gluten-free and vegan options will be available but please let us know if you have any other dietary requirements, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Delegate badges

We will provide you with a delegate badge on arrival at the registration desk. Please return it at the end of the day so that we can reuse it.
