A call to Welsh Speaking Cancer Champions
A message from Helen Davies, Powys Cancer Champions Coordinator…
“Earlier this year, Liz Waters from the ovarian cancer charity, Ovacome gave an online ovarian cancer awareness session to Cancer Champions.
Liz has now been in touch with me again and would like our help to make a short ovarian cancer signs and symptoms video, in Welsh.
I would therefore like to ask if any Welsh speaking Cancer Champions would like to get involved?
The video will be made remotely and recorded either from your home or workplace and so no travel will be involved. It will all be scripted. We are looking for 4 or 5 women or men who would be willing to take part.
If you , or other Welsh speaking Cancer Champions you know or work with, would be willing to help or are interested but would like more information (I have a copy of the script), please email me by Friday 13th November.
The recordings will take place between the end of November and February 2027.
This is a valuable initiative and will help share important messages about ovarian cancer signs and symptoms within Wales and so I would appreciate any help or support .
