Course Aims:
A free session for third sector organisations to gain understanding of the Active Offer and the resources available.
Course Outcomes:
This course will ensure that you have the knowledge, attitudes and resources that are useful to support you to offer your services bilingually. By the end of this course you will:
– Have access to the Welsh language Active Offer resources from PAVO.
– Understand the need to provide services bilingually.
– Understand what exactly the Active Offer is and the reason behind it.
– Learn about the Welsh language standards.
-Gain ideas on how your organisation could provide the Active Offer
Who this course is targeted at:
For care homes in Powys and third sector organisations that are funded by Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board.
