Our History
Powys Rural Council was originally formed in 1974, bringing together the three independent Rural Community Councils of Montgomeryshire, Radnorshire, and Brecknockshire.
In 1994, Powys Rural Council became Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations (PAVO).
We're proud to have been supporting people and communities in Powys ever since.
