Pub is the Hub

Closing date:  on going

Pub is The Hub is a not-for-profit organisation, which offers independent specialist advice to publicans on rural services diversification so they can all provide viable local services or activities which add social value in their local area.

The organisation was founded by His Majesty King Charles III, when he was HRH the Prince of Wales in 2001. Over the past 25 years Pub is The Hub has been able to help hundreds of pubs to diversify, with many receiving both advisory and financial support through our Community Services Fund. Pub is The Hub’s future vision, subject to funding, is to help 1,000 more pubs diversify over the next three years.

In 2019 Pub is The Hub launched its ‘Join Inn – Last Orders for Loneliness’ initiative, which looks to support publicans and people living in their local areas to become better connected and in the process helping to alleviate loneliness. We also collaborate and support the work of other complimentary organisations including INN CROWD, Creative Lives, Pub Aid and the Licensed Trade Charity, to inspire publicans and pubs to be able to provide services so badly needed in many rural and other areas.
