Breathe Studio Launches Free Community Well-Being Workshops Throughout May and June

Breathe Studio is excited to announce a new series of FREE well-being workshops and community activities taking place throughout May and June, bringing together creativity, mindfulness, gardening, and singing to support health and connection within the community.

The programme has been made possible through funding support from PAVO and the UK Government.

Creative Gardening Club Launch

Monday 18 May | Arlais Community Garden

Breathe Studio hosted a garden design workshop focused on creating a creative edible garden for the community. The event marked the launch of the new Creative Gardening Club, which will continue with weekly sessions throughout June and beyond.

Creative Gardening Club Sessions

Mondays throughout June | 1:30pm – 2:30pm

Sessions will include:

  • Hands-on gardening and seasonal growing
  • Exploration of chakra-inspired weekly themes
  • Learning about supportive foods and herbs
  • Mindful grounding, breathing, and sensory awareness practices
  • Simple well-being habits for everyday life

The workshops are free, accessible, and open to everyone. Booking is essential.

Singing for Well-Being Workshop

Wednesday 4 June | 7:30pm

Breathe Studio will also host a special Singing for Well-Being Workshop, celebrating the launch of its new Intergenerational Therapeutic Singing Group.

The workshop will be led by Liz Ikamba, a British-Congolese (DRC) singer, multi-instrumentalist, and trauma-informed facilitator known for creating uplifting and inclusive singing experiences.

No previous singing experience is required, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Breathe Studio’s programme aims to encourage creativity, connection, and emotional well-being through shared community experiences.
