Powys Development Officer (Part-time)
Join SMCCB as our Powys Development Officer to expand access to ethical, affordable financial services in Powys by building partnerships, promoting our offerings, and driving local membership growth.

What you’ll do:
As Powys Development Officer at SMCCB, you’ll support local members, identify business opportunities, build partnerships, engage stakeholders, oversee volunteers, report to leadership and promote SMCCB’s services within the communities of Powys.

What you’ll bring:
 Excellent communication abilities and confidence in building external relationships, as well as representing our organisation.
 Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, alongside good literacy and numeracy.
 Comfortable with Microsoft Office and open to adopting new digital tools and ways of working.
 A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
 Full driving licence, access to a suitable vehicle, and business-use insurance (significant travel across Powys and occasional trips to other branches).

Role details:
 Job type: Part-time, fixed-term contract
 Hours: 18.5 hours per week
 Working pattern: Some flexibility in working hours may be agreed by mutual arrangement.
 Contract length: 33 months
 Pay: £14.64 per hour
 Work location: Hybrid remote in Llandrindod Wells (LD1 5ET)
