Adferiad: The Only Human Campaign

Adferiad are currently looking for people with lived experience of addiction and recovery to become Only Human Champions.

A Champion can be someone with:

First-hand experience (own experience), or
Second-hand experience (supporting someone with addiction or in recovery).

Only Human Champions help raise awareness by sharing their stories and experiences around stigma and discrimination related to addiction or recovery. This could involve:

Writing a blog post about your experience
Helping to create social media content to share
Supporting Project Coordinators at anti-stigma presentations
Attending events and sharing your story in person

Please feel free to share this opportunity with your team, volunteers, or any service users you think may be interested in becoming a Champion.
