An 8-week group programme to support healing, wellbeing, and post-service transition.
What Is This Programme?
This pilot project is an 8-week therapeutic programme designed to support the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of serving and former UK military personnel and their families. Grounded in evidence-informed approaches, the programme combines somatic practices, trauma-sensitive yoga, breathwork, guided movement, psychoeducation, and nature-based activities.
You don’t need any prior experience with these practices to take part.
Who Is It For?
This programme is for anyone currently serving in the UK Armed Forces, those who have previously served, and their families. You may be:
- Living with stress, trauma, or emotional overwhelm
- Seeking a greater sense of balance, calm, or connection
- Curious about body-based or nature-based approaches to healing
- Wanting to reconnect with yourself, others, or your surroundings
- Duration: 8 weekly sessions (90 minutes each)
- Group size: 6–10 participants
- Location: Freedom Leisure Brecon with the addition of nature-based settings wherever possible.
Accessibility: Adapted for neurodiversity, and physical or sensory needs. You’ll be invited to move, rest, reflect, and participate in a way that feels right for you.
