Grants of up to £2,500 are available to a limited number of small UK registered charities operating in the area of human rights to help them develop their online presence.

The Fat Beehive Foundation supports a limited number of small UK charities annually by building websites or digital products that enable them to carry out their work in a more efficient and effective way, resulting in positive social benefit.

The Foundation particularly keen to support traditionally hard-to-fund organisations, such as those supporting prisoners, refugees, or disadvantaged youth.

A few highly specialised grants up to £2,500 are normally available to UK registered charities with an annual income of under £1 million. Successful applicants must be able to commence their project within 3 months of an award being made.

Please note that the Foundation has so far received over 8oo applications for funding and has funded approximately 1% of them.

Projects the Foundation have supported include Spark Inside, Rainbow Home, Pregnancy Sickness Support and the Harvey Hext Trust.

In addition to grant support, the Foundation’s trustees have identified a number of projects which Fat Beehive staff have been supported by other means, including volunteering their time to help charities improve donation practices, branding, UX, UI, SEO and content writing for digital.

Funding is not available for:

o Charities currently working with the Fat Beehive Foundation.
o Core digital costs such as hosting and support.
o Organisations with an annual income exceeding £1 million.
o Religious organisations, 
or
o Staff digital training or digital staff salaries.

The next deadline for applications is Tuesday 30th September 2025. The following deadline is on Tuesday 31st March 2026.
