The Alan Sugar Foundation is a family-based grant-making charity, primarily supported by the business entrepreneur Lord Sugar and his family who provide most of the Trust’s funding.

The Foundation prefers to make donations to UK frontline charities, and particularly favours charities working with:

o Children and young people.
o The elderly.
o Those who are disadvantaged,
 and
o Jewish causes.

Over the last two years, the Foundation has made grants totalling £1,936,000. However, this comprised of grants to just 6 charities, namely:

o Chigwell Synagogue and Community Hall: £900,000.
o Great Ormond Street Hospital: £11,000.
o British Red Cross: £10,000.
o Jewish Care Redbridge Project: £1,000,000.
o Solidarity Sport Charity: £10,000, 
and
o Kisharon Langdon: £5,000.
