Networks and Forums landscape

Powys Older People’s Forum

The Older People’s Forum is a network made up of older citizens (aged 60+) from across Powys. It provides a platform for older people to share their ideas and opinions on issues that affect their lives.

The forum helps shape decisions made by Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board about how resources are used to benefit older people in Powys.

Live Well Forum

Led by Powys County Council, the Live Well Forum is for people aged 18–65 in Powys who use, design, or support health and social care services.

The forum provides a space to:

  • Talk about what’s working well – and what’s not
  • Identify what needs to change
  • Explore how we can help people in Powys live good lives

Junior Start Well Board 

The Junior Start Well Board is a fun group where young people between the ages of 11 – 18 meet up to talk about anything that matters to children and young people in Powys
