Health and Social Care

PAVO supports Third Sector organisations working in the health and social care fields to work closely with the Health Board, County Council and others to develop better services for Powys’ people.

In this section

PAVO’s Health and Wellbeing Care team supports third sector organisations working in health and social care by:

  • keeping you up to date on what’s going on
  • bringing you together to network and hear from each other
  • getting your voices heard and acted on
  • providing information and training on new developments in social care and health
  • providing a Third Sector voice in Powys’ Regional Partnership Board and sub-Boards

Health and Social Care – get involved

Through the work of our Health and Social Care Network, PAVO runs a number of specialist networks:

Meetings and events of these networks are open to staff or volunteers from all third sector organisations. You can find out more about PAVO’s Health and Social Care Network and how to become a member here.

PAVO also supports citizen and Third Sector representatives upon Powys’ Regional Partnership Board and many other local strategic planning groups.
