Welsh Charities Week 2026: Play your part, change lives

Welsh Charities Week, organised by the Welsh Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), returns from 9–13 February 2026, now in its new annual home in the second week of February. The week is dedicated to recognising and celebrating the incredible work of charities, voluntary organisations, community groups, and volunteers across Wales.

This year’s focus: the voluntary sector and wellbeing

In this Senedd election year, the WCVA is highlighting the vital role the voluntary sector plays in supporting wellbeing across Wales. The campaign theme is “Play your part, change lives”, encouraging people to get involved in the sector through:

• Volunteering

• Championing the work of charities and community groups
