PAVO is a CATALYST for voluntary action and is here to support you in every step of engaging with and recruiting volunteers. We’ll assist you in following good practices, helping to create your organisation’s documentation and policies so your volunteers feel safe, valued, and empowered.
Volunteers are the heart of many organisations, bringing skills and energy to support communitites. Whether you're just starting out with volunteers or looking to review your approach, we're here to help.
Our goal is to make volunteering a rewarding experience for both you and those who give their time, creating a positive, fulfilling and inclusive environment for everyone involved.
If you are an individual looking to find out more about volunteering and opportunities, please visit our page for volunteers.

Valuing your volunteers
Celebrating and showing appreciation to your volunteers can help improve volunteer experiences and in turn improve retention of volunteers.
Why not take part in Volunteers' Week and than your volunteers with certificates or even go that step further and have your own awards ceremony.
If you'd like help with creating certificates or ideas on how you can celebrate volunteers, or to have a look at ideas and resources online email volunteering@pavo.org.uk or visit Volunteers' Week
Remember your Trustees (your Trustees may be given other titles such as Directors, Board Members, Governors or Committee Members) are volunteers and deserve thanks and recognition. Trustees' Week
You don't need an occasion to thank your volunteers though. A thank you can go a long way.
