Safeguarding Group B

This course builds on basic universal understanding of safeguarding achieved through the Group A (generally online) courses.
During this one day face to face course participants will learn how to:

Explain factors, situations and actions that could lead or contribute to abuse, harm and neglect.
Understand legislation, national policies, codes of conduct and professional practice in safeguarding.

This will support the principles –
I am a key part of the safeguarding process
I know when, how and who to report to
I will make sure the individual’s voice is heard.
Staff and volunteers who work directly with children, young people and adults who may be vulnerable.
This includes practitioners who are or aren’t registered.
