Follow-up Active Offer Session

Course Aims:
A free follow-up session for third sector organisations and care homes to gain further understanding of the Active Offer and the resources available. An opportunity to share ideas and experiences and learn the emotional side to language.
Course Outcomes:
This course will ensure that you have the knowledge, attitudes and resources that are useful to support you to offer your services bilingually. By the end of this course you will:
– Have access to the Welsh language Active Offer resources from PAVO.
– Further understand the need to provide services bilingually.
– Understand the reason behind the Active Offer and the emotional side to language.
– Learn about real life examples/experiences of the Active Offer
-Gain ideas on how your organisation could provide the Active Offer
– Discuss your experience with the Active Offer and share ideas with each other.
Who this course is targeted at:
For third sector organisations that are funded by Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board. Also available for Care Homes in Powys.
