Jennifer Owen-Adams

Jennifer Owen-Adams, a co-opted board member and the PTHB Independent Third Sector Representative, joined our Board of Trustees in late 2024.

Jennifer, originally from Ceredigion, has lived in Radnorshire, Powys for twenty three years. Her
professional career for over thirty years was as a senior executive in the education and the ‘Third’
sectors across England and Wales. She graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in
Physical Education, Sports Science and Geography and has an MSc in Education Management.
More recently, Jennifer has been pursuing a career as a non executive director. She is an
Independent Member of the Powys Teaching Health Board, Vice Chair of Powys Association of
Voluntary Organisations (PAVO); is a non executive director on the England&Wales Cricket Board
(ECB), Chair of ECB’s Recreational Game Committee and former Chair of Cricket Wales. She is a
Member of Glas Cymru and was the inaugural Chair of Impelo, a dance organisation based in mid
Wales.
In her spare time, Jennifer pursues her passion for the outdoors.. Whether it be on land or sea,
Jennifer enjoys exploring and enjoying the natural environment and is a great advocate of how
nature and the great outdoors can help achieve societal well being.
