PAVO Volunteering in Powys – Call for Volunteering Delivery Partners

PAVO is seeking Volunteering Delivery Partners to help deliver localised volunteering services across Powys.

 

The aim of this funding is to support and grow volunteering within local communities by increasing awareness of opportunities and helping more people get involved.

Successful Volunteering Delivery Partners will:

  • Promote volunteering opportunities through social media, local networks, and positive volunteering stories. 
  • Address local volunteering needs by making opportunities easier to access, supporting individuals into suitable roles, and helping local organisations connect with volunteers. 
  • Help ensure volunteers feel supported, valued, and confident to take part.

This funding aims to address local volunteering needs by:

  • Promoting volunteering locally 
  • Recruiting volunteers and supporting them into roles
  • Connecting people to other voluntary groups
  • Promoting PAVO volunteer events
  • Enabling volunteer registrations on the Volunteering Wales website.

We are currently looking for Volunteering Delivery Partners in the following areas:

  • Builth Wells & Llanwrtyd Wells
  • Hay-on-Wye & Talgarth
  • Llandrindod Wells
  • Presteigne
  • Welshpool, Llanfyllin & Llanfair Caereinion
