New Trustee Network launched by WCVA

The Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) has launched a new Trustee Network, created in collaboration with people from across Wales.

The network offers trustees the chance to connect with peers, stay informed, and access discounted training – helping them strengthen the governance of their organisations.

Why Trustees Matter

Trustees are the heart of Welsh voluntary organisations. As volunteers, they are legally responsible for ensuring a charity acts in the best interests of its beneficiaries, invests responsibly, and complies with charity law and regulations.

What the Network Offers

Co-produced with 50 trustees, the network includes:

  • Webinars and training
  • A trustee news bulletin
  • Peer support opportunities
  • In-person trustee meetings
  • Online discussion sessions
  • Access to resources

Membership is free.
