Macmillan CARE Grants Programme

Macmillan CARE (Culture • Agency • Respect • Equity) Grants Programme. This pilot programme will fund community-led projects that offer new insights and impact. Grants will focus on three key areas:

  • Cultural Responsiveness: Improving the sensitivity of cancer care to diverse cultural needs.
  • Shared Decision Making: Empowering people to understand and participate in their care choices.
  • Dementia-Friendly Cancer Care: Enhancing support for individuals living with both cancer and dementia.

The programme is open to voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across the UK. We’re looking for groups with an interest in addressing health inequities and delivering co-designed, community-led solutions.

In this first round, up to £1.5 million is available, with grants ranging from £50,000 to £150,000.

The fund is open now and closes on 23 January 2026.
