Stop It Now! Wales – child sexual exploitation.

Anyone who would like to raise their awareness of child sexual exploitation, is invited to attend the next multi-agency Community of Practice session with guest speaker, Sarah Walton-Jones, Project Worker at Stop It Now! Wales and the Lucy Faithful Foundation.

The talk, arranged by Powys County Council’s Child Exploitation Team, will be held over Microsoft Teams on Tuesday March 21, from 9.30-11am.

It aims to raise awareness of child sexual exploitation and what vulnerability and risk indicators can look like.

The session will explore the process of how the abuse can happen and what actions can be taken to safeguard children and support their recovery. It will also incorporate emerging themes such as child criminal exploitation and county lines.

Book your place via TRENT self-service (council staff) or email: practice.development(at)powys.gov.uk
