Course content
- Understand safeguardingprinciples within the context of the Social Services & Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
- Have explored key changes in the Wales Safeguarding Procedures for Adults at risk of abuse and neglect
- Be aware of your accountabilities under the Act relating to safeguarding
- List the different types of abuse and how to recognise them.
- Have identified opportunities to prevent harm and promote safeguarding
- Reflect on your knowledge of the safeguarding procedures within your organisation and how they protect adults at risk.
