Course Content
By the end of this course you will:
- Understand the principles and values behind effective safeguarding
- Know how to recognise different types of harm, abuse and neglect in children, young people and adults
- Understand your own role in relation to safeguarding children, young people and adults
- Understand the procedures and referral routes for protecting people at risk from harm, abuse and neglect
- Be up-to-date with relevant policies on safeguarding
