This session will be a conversation with Dr Rachel Sumner (Cardiff Metropolitan University) and Ruth Davey (Look Again), discussing their work together in evaluating and implementing Mindful Photography for health and wellbeing. Rachel and Ruth have worked together for a number of years as Ruth has developed and expanded her business and methodology in Mindful Photography practice. Along the way, Rachel has benefitted from being able to conduct research closely with a practitioner to add insight and value to her research in this field and beyond in social prescribing; and Ruth has benefitted from the development of an evidence base for her practice. Both will discuss their own journeys into their work, and how collaborating has changed their ways of working for the better. The Lunch Bytes inter-disciplinary online series will bring together individuals with an interest in health, activity and wellbeing from within and outside of Higher Education to engage in active dialogue with the presenters. We want to better connect people in the area of health, activity and wellbeing to develop collaborative partnerships and to share ideas and develop solutions to shared challenges
