Dangos is a project giving people who are in day-to-day contact with those who might need support to improve their financial situation information about benefits to better understand what help is available. 

A message from Dangos:

With people in Wales still facing Increasing financial pressures there a continuing need for support and information about benefits and other help which is available.

There are many big changes in the way in which the system is affecting people. Migration to Universal Credit, for people who’s circumstances haven’t changed, is now underway and will cover the whole of Wales in the next few months.

This round of funding for Dangos ends in midMarch so there’s still time to take advantage of the Welsh Government funded free online sessions to update and extend knowledge and awareness about available support.

We’ve got basic and intermediate half-day sessions on the issues, benefits and other support but our new sessions on more focussed topics are a great way to get up to speed in other areas.

Dangos courses which are bookable now:

• Older People and their money – aging, pensions and benefits

• Children and Young People – from pregnancy to the end of education

• In need of care – social care, charging and disability benefits

• What’s changed & changing – all the new rules and schemes.
