Introduction to Gypsy Roma Traveller Communities.

Every June since 2008, people from across the UK have celebrated Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month (GRTHM).

With celebration, education and efforts to raise awareness of the histories and experiences of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people, GRTHM helps to tackle prejudice, challenge myths and to amplify the voices of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people.

n order to promote this history month the Mid and South West Wales Cohesion Team are promoting a 2hr Teams/Zoom session delivered by Travelling Ahead, who run an Advice and Advocacy Service for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities across Wales.

This session is ideal for professionals who work with the GRT communities and want to learn more about their culture and history.

The session will be held on Tue 28th June 10.30 am - 12.30
