Aim: To support social care practitioners with case work involving the presentation of hoarding, self-neglect and complex lifestyles.  

Outcomes:

This course will detail the possible causes of hoarding and self-neglect.

Support the practitioner with case law, safeguarding policy,

MCA, MHA, Human rights act Article 8.

Use of a multi-disciplinary approach, managing risk, safety and balancing rights.

Seek to aid understanding of therapeutic approaches to aid working with individuals that use services.
