If so, we would like to invite you to take part in a workshop exploring how this process works and to hear your ideas on how it can be improved to better meet the needs of social care.
Health Technology Wales is responsible for the identification, appraisal and adoption of health and care approaches throughout Wales.
To ensure that social care is fully represented, Social Care Wales is working with Health Technology Wales and the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) to better understand any barriers or challenges that prevent individuals and organisations from across social care in Wales from submitting an intervention for consideration.
As part of this work we will be running an online
workshop on the 16th and 17th June to review and understand how issues of language, audience focus and accessibility could be changed to make the process more suitable for a social care audience.
We want to draw on the insights and experience of a wide range of individuals and organisations to ensure that the workshop is a success.
We’d like to invite you to participate to give your views in order to help shape the way that people with lived experience interact with Health Technology Wales in proposing innovative, good quality social care interventions, that have potential to be adopted across health and social care.
